The inkwell
A little inkwell with a quill sits up on the roof like a chimney. Blot swears it has never run dry of ideas.
The writing pen
A pen rests by the open book, ready for a first sentence whenever you are.
The open book

Blot, the ink-stained keeper
Blot greets every visitor with a serious nod and insists that every good draft begins in a little bit of ink.
